This is a story about rebellion, dignity, and the unbreakable bond between a boy and his bird.

This film is personal. Growing up in Pakistan, I witnessed many forms of silent injustice — especially among working-class children. The Rooster and the Boy is my response to that silence. It’s a story of rage, love, survival — and what it means to fight for something that can’t fight for itself.
